Our one-on-one private swim lessons are fully individualized and designed around each child’s personality, comfort level, learning style, and emotional readiness in the water.
Unlike large group programs, private lessons allow us to move at the child’s pace while building trust, confidence, water safety, and real swimming skills in a calm, supportive environment.

Our approach is heavily behavior-based and psychology-driven, meaning we focus first on connection, emotional regulation, and creating positive experiences in the water rather than fear or force-based methods.
Private lessons are especially beneficial for:
- babies and toddlers,
- nervous or sensitive children,
- children with past negative experiences,
- strong-willed personalities,
- neurodivergent learners,
- or families wanting faster progression and focused attention.
Lessons are taught one-on-one with the instructor in the water and are customized in real time based on observation, trust, and progress. We incorporate play, repetition, gentle exposure, floating, breath control, survival skills, stroke foundations, and confidence-building in a way that feels safe and enjoyable for the child.
Many families find that children progress significantly faster in private lessons because the entire session is tailored specifically to them.
